Stepping onto the main stage in front of thousands of screaming fans is a feeling that never gets old. This past month, I had the honor of headlining the Underground Beats Festival, and the energy was absolutely unreal. For a massive outdoor arena, track selection has to be bold. I loaded up the CDJs with exclusive mashups, heavy bass drops, and unreleased VIP edits specifically designed for big-room acoustics.
The highlight of the night? Dropping a custom acapella over a classic techno beat right as the festival fireworks went off. The crowd roared, the bass shook the ground, and it was a moment of pure connection between the DJ booth and the dancefloor.
